From the moment you walk up to the door, the staff greets you with a smile. The hotel is in a perfect location, close to Boubon, Canal shopping, and a short walk to the French Quarter. This was my second stay at this hotel, and we will definitely stay again.
The only complaint is the slow elevator.
Price, location, and how nice it was!
Parking was rather expensive @$28/day.
Very good location....freindly staff....
One elevator.....but it didnt ruin my holiday cause of that not like the other people who complaint abouth it,,,,,,
Hotel is located really close to the French Quarter.
Although the hotel was relatively cheap compared to other hotels in the French Quarter, it was noisy (both street noises and other clients). Also, we stayed in this hotel for three days and the towels we got had stains everyday and did not smell like freshly cleaned.
excellent location, rooms were very clean, value was excellent.
checking in took too long--could not find my reservation--too much gabbing between employees while checking in.
My room was nice and clean.
I was not aware that my room didn't have a window until I arrived.
Convenient location near French Quarter and a good value for the price.
Front desk and housekeeping staff not quite up to their jobs. Room had not been thoroughly cleaned prior to check in-hair pins on the floor in bathroom and bedroom.
It was a great location, just down from Bourbon St making it quieter but less than 2 blocks from shopping area and the nighttime action.
We didn't have any hot water for bathing. The carpet was wet for some reason and smelled like mildew.
I liked the look of the rooms and the convenience to French Quarter. The staff was friendly and accomodating too. The beds were very comfortable and the room was more than adequate for our stay there.
I would have liked to had continental breakfast if nothing more than coffee, bagel and piece of fruit.
The room was beautiful.
The front desk was rude and totally not helpful. Told us we could NOT check in till four. But at that time we only were asking if the hotel had a computer with a printer that we could use. We found it without her help. Then the printer wouldn't work and the desk help's response to our request was "that is your problem". Then at 3, people started coming in and were allowed to check in. the valet got the manager for us and took care of things. He and the valet were super helpful.
Big room, not a modern place.
Smelled of tobacco smoke!
The hotel was very convenient to Bourbon Street and other areas of New Orleans.
The guests down the hall from us found 2 ticks in their bed and the couple who checked in right before us walked into a dirty room. We were not able to book another hotel that we could afford once we were in New Orleans, but if we had been able to, we would have checked out and gone elsewhere. It was a place to sleep, and the cheapest I could find at that, but it definitely was not worth $200. We will not be staying there again, that's for sure.
location, within walking distance
not enough hot water maid shut water off to toilet without letting us know why safe in room did not work need more elevators, one is not enough for this size of hotel no continital breakfast
The staff was courteous and helpful,,the location was convenient, the rooms comfortable, and the price was affordable.
However, the side street side of the hotel was very noisy my first night, with trucks loading and unloading I suppose, so I was relocated to another room. On my last night in room 733 there was no hot water to shower, only luke warm.
